Practicum Exhibition 2026: Poetry Reading Contest Showcases English Students’ Talent

Ciamis, 13-15 January 2026 – The Practicum Exhibition 2026 held a Poetry Reading Contest organized by the Language and Literature Laboratory of Universitas Galuh. The event brought together students from all levels of the English Department, creating a vibrant platform for showcasing their creativity and public speaking skills.

Participants competed in reading both classic and modern poetry, demonstrating not only their mastery of the English language but also their ability to interpret and convey the emotions of the poems. The event aimed to encourage students to express themselves confidently and to enhance their appreciation of literature.

According to Andi Rustandi, M.Pd (Head of Language and Literature Laboratory), the contest received a positive response from both students and faculty, highlighting the importance of practicum activities in developing students’ communication skills and literary talents.

The Poetry Reading Contest is part of the Practicum Exhibition 2026, which continues to support experiential learning opportunities and celebrates the achievements of English Department students at Universitas Galuh.
