The Next Practicum Series 5 about Microteaching

The Language and Literature Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Galuh University, with great enthusiasm, announces the upcoming Practicum Workshop Series 5 scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

This edition of the workshop carries the theme:

“Micro Teaching: Its Theory and Practice in Developing Pedagogical Competence for Pre-Service Teachers in Southeast Asia.”

Designed as an enriching academic forum, the event aims to deepen understanding of micro teaching as a key component in shaping future educators. Participants will explore both theoretical foundations and practical applications of micro teaching, with a strong focus on pedagogical competence within the Southeast Asian educational landscape.

The workshop will feature insightful sessions led by distinguished experts, including Ms. Ermila Niegos Balibia, from STI West Negros University, Philippines, along with invited lecturers from the English Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Galuh University, Indonesia: Andi Rustandi, M.Pd., and Dr. Ikshak Said, Drs., MM. M.Pd. Their collective expertise will guide participants through interactive activities, collaborative reflections, and practical demonstrations of effective micro-teaching strategies.

This academic gathering offers more than just a learning experience—it serves as a collaborative hub to exchange ideas, strengthen teaching skills, and inspire innovative approaches to classroom instruction.
